Ted & Doyle joined us about 14 years ago.
They were RSPCA rescues as Melinda worked for them at the time. Doyle has half of one of this front legs missing as he was found crossing Abbey Road in North London and had been hit by a car.
Ted is the older, about 46 and Doyle around 30. Doyle was originally diagnosed as a female so he was named Mrs Doyle but later we found that was inocrrect and his name was shortened to just Doyle.
Most of the summer they spend in the garden as its enclosed, when the weather cools they come inside as we have a vivarium they stay in until its time to hibernate. Ted and Doyle are Melinda's really as she loves them dearly.
Tom has had Scrapz the Leopard Gecko for about 7 years now. He has been into reptiles for a long time and wanted his own lizard, so he saved every penny and was finally able to buy one, along with all the paraphernalia that goes with it.
Scrapz was sold originally as a male but recently we had to take him to the vets with eye problems and we were informed that HE was actually a SHE, as there were eggs inside her!
Tom takes her out from time to time and sits with her crawling over him, he loves it.
